Florence Lyons

Trained in the United Kingdom, Florence brings two decades of teaching experience to the pedagogical landscape of Aotearoa New Zealand. Specialising in languages, she not only taught French but also assumed roles as a future-focused learning strategic leader and head of faculty.

Distinguished as a Microsoft Innovative Educator and a Core Education eFellow, Florence's interest in digital technology's impact on pedagogy led her to pursue a doctorate in education. Her research focused on digital feedback, assessment, and persuasive writing, showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of educational innovation.

Transitioning from traditional school environments, Florence now finds fulfilment in supporting and guiding new language teachers as they embark on their teaching journeys.
